The D1 Council of the NCAA extended the recruiting dead period until January 1st. So that does that mean? Dead periods mean all in-person recruiting. They do not want their coaches to travel to recruit and return with a virus. Full press release can be found here.
Everyone has a highlight film. This introduces two problems: 1) there is only so much time in the day and 2) all highlight films look the same. I have never seen one that did not make the player look exceptional. What I want to know is not just these few select plays, but how they performed for the season. Their stats are needed to compliment and verify what our gut or their coaches are telling us.

The impact is that video and data is all they have to differentiate one player from another. Make sure that you are capturing your data for all your games and documenting your accolades. Entering the data one clublacrosse.org broadcasts the accolade. If it wasn’t real, you would not post it in fear of being called out. Similar to LinkedIn and other documenting sites, this gives the coaches confidence in the integrity of your digital resume. It is in the public domain. And sunlight is the best disinfectant.
